By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. We aim to process only the information reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the App.

Depending on the features enabled in the App, we may process the following categories of information:
- Technical and device information: app version, operating system version, device model, language, approximate region, and technical identifiers needed for service operation and security.
- VPN connection information: VPN server selected, connection start and end times, connection status, protocol version, and diagnostic information needed to establish and maintain the VPN connection.
- Network information: source IP address may be temporarily processed by network infrastructure as technically necessary to establish and operate a VPN connection.
- Diagnostics: crash reports, error reports, and performance information, if diagnostic or crash-reporting tools are enabled in the App.
- Account information: if the App provides account registration, we may process account identifiers and contact details that you provide.
- Purchase information: subscription or purchase status may be processed to provide paid features. Payment card details are handled by the applicable payment platform and are not intended to be stored by the App.
2. VPN Traffic and Browsing Activity
SimpleVPN is designed to route network traffic through a VPN connection. We do not sell the contents of your network traffic or browsing activity.
The App and VPN infrastructure should be configured so that any logging is limited to what is necessary for service operation, reliability, abuse prevention, security, and compliance with applicable law. Operators must ensure that the statements in this section accurately reflect the production VPN servers and any third-party infrastructure.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- provide and maintain VPN connectivity;
- authenticate users and manage subscriptions, where applicable;
- detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
- diagnose crashes, connection failures, and performance problems;
- provide customer support;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the App, such as hosting providers, infrastructure providers, analytics or crash-reporting providers, customer support providers, and payment platforms, but only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
